Anniversary of classical japanese,Kyoto City Heiankyo Sousei-kan
This facility is built on the Warehouse of “Heiankyū Miki-no-Tsukasa” Visitors can get a glimpse of the life and culture of the people who lived in the capital through permanent exhibits such as the “Model of a Reconstruction of the Heian Capital” and other reconstructed models, excavated artifacts and replicas that allow visitors to understand at a glance what the capital looked like. At the hands-on corner, we have prepared playthings and costumes of Heian aristocrats. Visitors are free to wear the costumes and take commemorative photos. Volunteer guides will be on hand from 10:00 to 16:50 to provide explanations.

Heiankyo zue
This guide map is ideal for strolls and school excursions in Kyoto, superimposing the current map on Heiankyo ruins and Heiankyū ruins, Dairi ruins.
